Hey script kiddie,

Nice work and all but why don't you grab the Hudson source and make a small addition to the REST path like e.g.

https://hudson.jboss.org/hudson/view/Seam/FoolScreenBuildStatus
or maybe
https://hudson.jboss.org/hudson/FoolScreenBuildStatus/Seam/

This would return a self refreshing web page with blue/yellow/red backgrounds and all info required to throw the bricks at the right team.

Your feature would be immediately available to all and putting the browser in Full Screen mode would result in the same effect, on all platforms.

I'll pay the keep-you-wife-occupied-for-2-hours-movie and you do the coding meanwhile. That or coffee in the morning.

Let's call it a night...

[copied from your old blog]

Hi Alex,

Just found your blog! Interesting to see that you're working on some of the same problems as us.

Along with regular unit tests, we've developed a Selenium RC-based testing framework that starts up the application, resets the DB and shuts down automatically.

We're not finding it easy to really get into a systematic red-green-refactor cycle (until I joined the project in January, there wasn't a single test), but a long-term goal is continuous production. But there are lots of steps before we get there, though. Notably, DB refactoring without downtime...
